Nature possesses contextual dimensions, offers a multi-sensory experience and appears as a seamless unity. During 2015 and 2016, the photographer Mon Zamora decided to truly experience it, leaving behind his expectations and thousands of human artifacts to appreciate nature and its beauty around Washington DC. He spent almost all of his free time in the mountains nearby: walking, feeling, admiring, noticing details and learning about the cycles.
This project is the result of these adventures. It invites you to deep into nature and watch it with full sympathy as being. Through these pictures, all taken during his trips to nature, Mon tried to capture the beauty of the instant and make it a souvenir now shared with all of us. Each picture has a unique perspective bringing the spectator to the scene. However this is just half the exhibition, the other half is out there to be appreciated. Enjoy.
