Grants available to universities for SPANISH FILM CLUB festivals.

The application deadline is OCTOBER 15, 2017.

Twice a year, SFC offers grants to universities for the organization of Ibero American Film Festivals on campuses across North America. Professors all around the country are calling SFC "the most exciting event of our semester," "a classic," "a wonderful way to introduce not only language but different cultures to the students," and "a definite success!" Universities can chose from films that include award-winning titles like NERUDA (Chile), TRUMAN (Argentina, Spain), DON'T CALL ME SON (Brazil), SEALED CARGO (Bolivia), THE EMPTY CLASSROOM (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, El Salvador), PANAMA CANAL STORIES (Panama), THE TENTH MAN (Argentina), THE COMPANION (Cuba), and EL AMPARO (Venezuela). Other acclaimed titles include THE LIBERATOR (Venezuela), IXCANUL (Guatemala, France), MR. KAPLAN (Uruguay), THE SECOND MOTHER (Brazil), BAD HAIR (Venezuela), CHICO & RITA (Spain), WHO IS DAYANI CRISTAL? (Mexico), and 7 BOXES (Paraguay).
